Which app should I download?
- Practet (the main app) covers IELTS and PTE, and you can switch between them.
- Some courses also have their own app, for example PTE Practet or IELTS Practet. It has the same account and features, focused on one exam.
- If your institution has its own branded app, use the one they tell you to.
See Install the app and sign in in the Mobile App section.
Best device for each skill
- Writing: a computer with a keyboard is easiest for long essays. The app works too.
- Speaking: any device with a working microphone. Use headphones with a mic in a quiet room.
- Full Mock Tests: a computer gives you the closest experience to test day. Allow 2–3 hours without interruptions.
