"To reach the next band"

Each criterion lists what to do to move up one band, with an icon for each point: green for a strength, red for something to improve, grey for a note. Points marked Limits your score are the ones holding your band down most. At Band 9 there is nothing higher, so this section is hidden.

How accurate is the AI band?

This IELTS score is generated using AI technology and is intended for guidance only. It follows the public IELTS band descriptors, but a certified human examiner may score slightly differently.
