Change or reset your password

Change your password (you know your current one)

1. Web: go to Profile → Change password. App: go to More → Change Password.
2. Enter your Current Password.
3. Enter a New Password (at least 8 characters, different from the current one) and confirm it.
4. Click Change Password (web) or Update Password (app).

Reset a forgotten password

1. On the sign-in page, click Forget Password?
2. Enter your registered Email Address. We email you a 6-digit code (OTP).
3. Enter the code on the Verify OTP screen. Use Resend Code if it hasn't arrived after a minute.
4. Set your New Password, confirm it, and click to finish. You'll see Password reset successfully.
5. Sign in with the new password.

Signed up with Google or Apple?

If you only ever used Continue with Google or Sign in with Apple, you may not have a password. Keep signing in with that button, or use Forget Password? with the same email to set one.

Account created by your institution?

Institutions sometimes create your account and give you a password. You can change it yourself as above, or ask your institution admin to set a new one.

Keep your account safe

• Use a password you don't use anywhere else.
• After changing your password, check Active Sessions and sign out devices you don't recognise.
