How Each Section is Scored

1. Listening

The listening section contains 40 questions. One mark is given for each correct answer, and the raw score is converted into a 9-band scale.

IELTS Academic Result: Delivery and Availability

Result Declaration

  • For CD IELTS, results are available within 3 to 5 days after taking the test.
  • For Paper-based IELTS, results are released 13 days after the test date.

How to Check Your IELTS Result

  • Go to the official website of either IDP or British Council.
  • Enter your name, ID document number, and test date.
  • Download your Test Report Form.
