How to read the highlights and suggestions in your essay reports.
When you view a Writing result, you'll see your original text with colorful highlights. Click on any highlight to learn more.
Highlight Color Key:
- Red: Grammatical or spelling errors that definitely need fixing.
- Yellow: Areas where your phrasing is weak or repetitive.
- Blue: Suggestions for more advanced vocabulary (synonyms) to boost your band score.
By reviewing these markups daily, you will learn to self-correct during the actual exam.
