Courses and live classes

Courses are structured lessons from Practet or your institution. Some courses also have live classes with a teacher, run in batches on a schedule.

Find and join a course

1. Open Courses (Browse and continue your courses).
2. Click a course to see About this course, the Curriculum and the Batches. Lessons marked Preview can be watched before you enrol.
3. Join:
   • Free course: click to enrol and you'll see Enrolled. Happy learning!
   • Paid course: buy it through the checkout.
   • Premium course: included with active premium access (Activate Premium).
   • Institution course: Enrollment is managed by your portal admin. Ask them to add you to a batch.

Take the lessons

• Click Continue Learning to pick up where you stopped.
• Each lesson shows its type, duration and topic, plus any Downloadable resource.
• Click Mark complete when you've finished. The sidebar shows your Course Progress.
• Practice Lesson items open a practice task inside the lesson.

Live classes

• See your schedule in Profile → Upcoming Classes (calendar or list view).
• When a class is about to start, a Join button appears. Before that, a countdown shows how long until you can join.
• In class:
  • You join with your mic off. The teacher can allow you to speak.
  • Open People to see who's there.
  • Use Settings & diagnostics to choose your microphone, speaker and camera, and to check your connection.
  • A REC badge means This class is being recorded.
  • Click Leave to exit.
• After the class, click Watch recording to see it again.

Tips

• Join 2 minutes early and test your microphone in Settings & diagnostics.
• Use headphones to avoid echo.
