How to Interpret Your Band Score Results

Understanding the difference between raw scores and band scores.
Your results page on Practet displays both your section performance and your overall estimated band score.
The Conversion Logic:
- Reading/Listening: Correct answers (out of 40) are converted to a 0-9 scale. (e.g., 30/40 is roughly Band 7.0).
- Writing/Speaking: Based on the average of the four descriptor scores.
- Rounding: Our AI follows official rounding rules. An average of 6.25 is rounded up to 6.5!
