How Your Duolingo Overall Score Works
The Duolingo English Test is computer-adaptive - question difficulty adjusts to your performance in real time. Your Overall Score (10-160) is calculated using Item Response Theory (IRT) across four subscores, rather than a simple sum or average, so Duolingo doesn't publish exact weightings.
